We think that the works by Dr. Campbell-McBride are very important in the area of personal health. Her book "Gut and Psychology Syndrome” is about the functions connecting the digestive system with the brain and body and how you can treat imbalances.
Gut and Psychology Syndrome, also referred to as "GAPS", is a programme of recovery for all disorders beginning in the digestive system.
Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride writes from both professional experience and as a parent of a child diagnosed severely autistic who has now fully recovered.
Dr Campbell-McBride graduated with Honours as a Medical Doctor, has a Postgraduate Degree in Neurology and a Postgraduate Degree in Human Nutrition.
Dr. Campbell-McBride is also the founder of the Cambridge Nutrition Clinic, her practice in the UK, where she specializes in using nutrition as a treatment. Here she treats children and adults with digestive problems, immune disorders, autism, learning disabilities, neurological disorders and psychiatric disorders.
We are also hoping to stock the doctor's book "Put Your Heart In Your Mouth" soon which discusses what causes heart disease and how to prevent it / reverse it.
Both these books are fully referenced so are also suitable for GP's and other healthcare professionals.

There are a number of great websites/blogs which discuss the GAPS programme and we'll put up some further information including these in the not too distant future.
